“I don’t have any of the usual fitness industry credentials to include near my name. Unfortunately, life gave me the test before the coursework and I tested out of the prerequisites. Becoming A708994 in the Ohio Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation at 22 years old and needing to survive the next 7 years of my life in Hell on Earth was my test. The odds were not in my favor, as I was 50 pounds overweight, newly sober after 4 years of alcoholism, mentally weak, immature and deeply depressed. I chose one of two options and that included incredibly hard work because in that trial of resilience, there is no taking days off, sleeping in, getting to it tomorrow, tapping out of a workout or excuses…
Thankfully, that tensile test ended. And the lessons learned from that successful experiment transferred home with me. As I restarted my life and continued pushing my physical limits, I extrapolated the behaviors that proved to be successful in that past trial. Marathons, triathlons, powerlifting meets, CrossFit competitions, trail runs, ruck races, pump & runs…the formula works”

“I've been an athlete my whole life, competing in gymnastics, softball, volleyball, cross country, and track. I discovered CrossFit in 2008, earned my CF-L1 in 2013, and have competed in more than 15 local CrossFit competitions. I’ve coached at Buckeye CrossFit in Columbus, OH, and CrossFit 440 in Mentor, OH, and even ran my own personal training company—End of Days Fitness—which focused on functional fitness. Outside the gym, I love hiking, mountaineering, camping, hunting, rucking, and strongman training. I bring my passion for movement, adventure, and bringing fun to every class I lead”
